OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a highly skilled, motivated, and results-driven Project Manager to join our Shared Services team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of various business functions within the Logistics and Maritime industry, the ability to think strategically, and excellent interpersonal skills to implement positive change and drive collaboration between cross-functional teams. The successful candidate will also poses the ability to apply innovative solutions, drive continuous improvement initiatives, optimize business processes, and enable organizational growth.

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for defining the PMO structure, roles, and responsibilities, developing and implementing standardized project management processes, methodologies, and tools, and creating a project portfolio management system. You will also establish project reporting and communication frameworks, provide training and coaching on project management best practices, and enable strategic projects for each division within the Group.

QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Project Management, Business Management, or a related field.
  • Additional certifications are highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in Project Management, Business Improvement, or similar roles.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop, manage, and lead projects from initiation to completion using various resource allocation and risk mitigation strategies, ensuring project   objectives are met within the defined scope, timeline, and budget.
  • Conduct regular project meetings to track progress, resolve issues, ensure adherence to project plans, and ensure successful implementation of projects
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scope, and prioritize deliverables.
  • Conduct post-project reviews to evaluate project success, identify areas for improvement, and share best practices across the organization.
  • Conduct in-depth analyses of business practices to identify areas for improvement within the Group and drive projects to enhance operational effectiveness, efficiency, and continuous improvements.
  • Manage business improvement projects to achieve cost reduction, efficiency gains, quality improvement, and customer satisfaction.
  • Continuously stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in business process improvement.
  • Work with relevant stakeholders across the group to monitor project performance, identify trends, and provide regular reports to upper management.
