QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE
•Grade 12
•1-2 years’ experience in a similar role within a Finance Department
•Entry level experience in Bookkeeping and a basic understanding of Debtors, Creditors, Cashbook, General Journals, General Ledger Reconciliations.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and sound knowledge of Excel spreadsheets
•Foundational knowledge of Ships Agency and Logistics would be advantageous.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
•Recon of WIP
•Recon of General Ledger Accounts.
•Compiling and checking of invoices.
•Follow up on queries
•Following up on Debtor payments
•Assist Operations where necessary.
•Implement controls and procedures
•Data Capturing – Accurately input and maintain financial data
•Invoicing -Prepare and issue invoices accurately and promptly
•Support Accounts Administrator where required
•Enforce Policies and Procedures
•Perform general administrative tasks as needed to support the Finance Department
•Ad-hoc duties
