Trade Ocean is a multinational Customs Clearing, Freight Forwarding and Ships Agency company, located in Southern Africa. With offices in Cape Town, Durban, Johannesburg and Walvis Bay, the group and its partners offer local and international clients with a range of maritime, customs and logistics services for a variety of cargo.

OUR HISTORY

Trade Ocean Shipping Services (Pty) Ltd was formed in 2006, as a legal vehicle to buy-out TRT Ships Agency.

Extending the legacy TRT Ships Agency enjoyed a long and credible history as clearing agents, which stretches back to 1968 when the business was established under the banner of TRT Shipping Services (Pty) Ltd. Part of that legacy, was the continuity brought to Trade Ocean by the courageous team of key TRT Ships Agency staff who founded Trade Ocean.

The company continues today with the same legacy of ownership and delivering service excellence through their network of regional offices and trusted partnerships.
