Trade Ocean says a fond farewell to Peter Stephenson who has retired. Some of us have known Peter for 20 years so he will be missed.

At the age of 64, Peter is more active than most of us so he can look forward to a wonderful retirement.  He loves to surf and mountain bike on forest trails and rocky terrain with his wife Sonja. Going on trips on his “on road / off road” motorbike has taken Peter to unexplored corners of the earth, soaking up nature and watching meerkats in the wild. Discovering old buildings and dorpies is something else that Peter will be doing more of now.

Just two years ago, Peter learnt to play an electric guitar and played in a gig or two. No doubt, he’ll be looking forward to more gigs. Peter also possesses excellent writing skills and even wrote an article for a magazine.

Peter has been a mentor for many of us but after the tight boundaries created by lockdown, he leaves behind a sense that there’s a wonderful and rich world out there for us to find and explore.

Peter, we know that you’ll be living life to the fullest. Thanks for your time with Trade Ocean and enjoy every moment out there!!
