David Jooste bids a fond farewell to Vanessa De Goede who leaves Trade Ocean at the end of April.
Vanessa has decided that the time is right for her to broaden her horizons, and to take the next step in her career. She has contributed so much to the culture, growth and success of Trade Ocean, right from day one of our humble beginnings 13 years ago.
I have personally worked alongside Vanessa for more than 15 years, and I am incredibly grateful for the enriching experience that this has been for me. I feel privileged to have worked alongside one of the most passionate and dedicated persons that I know.
Vanessa will be missed on many fronts.
Her knowledge and skill, her professional judgement, her contribution to our values and culture, her personal warmth, humour and kindness. I could easily go on!
We wish Vanessa success and happiness as she embarks on her journey and career.
