The Finance Department identified and closed a Non Conformance area regarding calculation of interest. Rushda had assisted in identifying the gap and then her commitment to “team” kicked in as she:
- Created an automated template to calculate interest
- Compiled a work instruction to guide her colleagues
- Trained the Debtors Clerk on the correct method of calculation.
- Amended the Credit Policy accordingly.
It is inevitable that there will be times when things go wrong simply because we are all human but the mark of a great business (with great people) is how we react and fix it. In this case, well done to Rushda Ariefdien for playing a pivotal role!
